Kogosowski presented the prestigious concert series at Sotheby's in London for ten years. These concerts acquired a cult following, with members of the Royal Family often attending, foremost among Kogosowski’s admirers being Princess Diana and the Queen Mother.
Kogosowski restored Chopin’s beautiful but forgotten unfinished Third Piano Concerto, which he premiered with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. His six-part TV series on the life of Chopin, first broadcast in New York in 2003, was hailed by the New York Times as ‘outstanding’. In 2007 Kogosowski took part in Los Angeles in a play about Chopin, by actress and writer Diana Douglas, mother of Michael Douglas.
Kogosowski’s book about Chopin and the piano, Genius of the Piano, a comprehensive exploration of the life of the great composer as well as the history and art of piano playing, and also How to Prevent RSI - a Pianist’s Perspective for Everyone, are available as e-books from
