Celebrate the last weekend of Andy Warhol | Ai Weiwei from 10pm Saturday until 10pm Sunday as the NGV stays open all night.

Andy Warhol | Ai Weiwei has welcomed more than 350,000 visitors since it opened in December, making it the NGV’s most popular ticketed summer exhibition.
Due to popular demand, the exhibition will open for extended hours throughout the week, with a 24 hour opening from 10pm Saturday 23 April to 10pm Sunday 24 April and an additional opening on Anzac Day, from 1pm-5pm.
One of Australia’s most respected singer/songwriters Robert Forster will perform from his latest album Songs to Play on Saturday 23 April (ticketed event 6pm-10pm with DJ set from Oscar Key Sung).
FREE short talks will also feature throughout the weekend with topics including Andy Warhol’s fascination with skulls, celebrity icons in Andy Warhol and Ai Weiwei’s work and a discussion of ‘Just how angry is Ai Weiwei?’

Pawno is a character driven ensemble film set in the diverse and multicultural suburb of Footscray. It revolves around one day in the lives of twelve characters. The film is set in an ageing Pawnbrokers shop and at the core of the story beats a romance, yet love is rarely simple. Within a day, lives intersect and motives are examined. It is a multi-layered story that celebrates the rawness of humanity and challenges audiences to see the world from a different view.
The cast includes John Brumpton, Kerry Armstrong, Maeve Dermody, Damian Hill, Mark Coles Smith and Malcolm Kennnard.

no one likes postmen: they deliver $$$-excessive utility bills and letters about your traffic fines. i used to be depressed each time postman would pass by our house - when he delivered the results from my late husband's medical tests nothing seemed right in the sound of that Aus Post motorbike.
I was then thinking: the others might be experiencing similar feelings... how would I make a difference? when I post out my BRC snail-mail to our VIPs I stick butterfly images to the envelopes so people know - there are only light and pleasant news inside.
Many things have changes as I receive now 2-3 envelopes a day that are not nasty bills but the gifts for our readers: movie tickets, DVDs, books and packages full of something that can bring joy to your houses, change your lifestyle or change your views on the entire world.
Our door bell does not work at the moment, well, Tosha is a better door bell as his barking does not break. Tosha "rings" every time the postmen are around. He did his bark-it-loud yesterday too.
