The image really focuses on blue hues and colours and the shape itself. We tried to combine the girl's image with the live octopus (sprut). The shoot was done in Thailand, Phuket Island. The model was very brave to take this creature in her mouth. The photographer was very creative too. It is very scary and mysterious shoot with the monster.

A modern outtake of this is the collaboration between Fashion Designer Wan Bynun and Sarawak Songket Weaver, Maskota. Title 'Songket Sarawak' the collection is an attempt to combine a traditional form with modern design and silhouettes. Featuring the beauty of Sarawak Handwoven Songket. The uniqueness of sarawak hand woven songket that make it different from those produce in other states is the back of the songket is also neatly woven by using the hidden thread technique and it can be worn on both sides.

Neera Alatas, Indonesia

Neera Alatas is a high-spirited and humorous young lady who chose to be a fashion designer. She graduated with an ISIIP Jakarta, bachelor’s degree in communication (Advertising) from ISIIP Jakarta and a bachelor’s degree in communication from Universitas Terbuka. Neera has always been interested in fashion from a young age and in 2008, she decided that she would trade in the day job and venture into the world of fashion. She enrolled into the Indonesia International Jakarta Fashion Institute and also the Make Up Forever Academy, so that she could learn the skills of both fashion and make-up..
Two years later, Neera founded her eponymous house of fashion in 2010 and introduced her first collection of Neera Moslem bridal brand. In 2016, the designer launched the Neera Alatas Deluxe Ready to Wear Collection and following that many special collaborations with other designers such like Hanneera and LinaSukijo x Neera Alatas, which of course can be distinguishably recognisable in terms of styles, target markets and concepts within each brand. Neera Alatas also collaborates with many local textile companies and weaving craftsmen in Indonesia with the effort of encouraging and boosting local products in the fashion industry in Indonesia and beyond. An advice that Neera gives those women who dream to become successful in terms of their business is that they should know their customers and cater to them. This is the fundamental lesson most business students are taught during their college years and this is what she believes in.
Neera describes herself as an average woman who understands the fashion desires of other average women. Neera is an esteem member and fashion ambassador of the ASEAN Fashion Designer Showcase representing Indonesia.

After graduation from Atma Jaya University, Jakarta in 2003, Dibya returned to Surabaya, Here he got a chance to work in the local fashion industry and that is when Dibya’s love for fashion developed and he has never looked back since then. Dibya is one designer that does not go by the trends, but does what he thinks is right. In 2014, Dibya opened this company – INTERIM Clothing Company, a platform for young local designers to put their creativity into the fashion line, where he hold the realm as its Creative Director. As the Creative Director, Dibya oversees the entire design and production process, ensuring it creates a modern look with touches of Indonesian ethnic fabrics throughout the collection of ready to wear styles for today’s women. Dibya is a member of the Indonesian Fashion Chamber Surabaya Chapter, he is responsible for it’s business network and developing local industry and brands, for a better and more fashionable Surabaya through D2-i Concept Store - "Work with heart and a lot of Passion"

Interim clothing is an Indonesian fashion brand that creates fashionable and affordable ready-to-wear style for today’s global fashionable women. Creating that modern look with rich Indonesian fabrics, they works closely with various small businesses of the home industry that creates batik and fabrics. This to create a sustainable and ethical fashion industry in Surabaya and Indonesia.

Myanmar fashion designer Zin Myat Myat Win, known as Zin Zin simply, was born on 10 February 1991. She was raised and studied till high school in her home town – Pakokku which is a small city, in Magway State, located in the middle region of Myanmar.
At 16, Zin Zin moved to Mandalay to further her education and graduated from Yadanarbon University Mandalay, majoring in Industrial Chemistry (BSc, IC) in 2010. As a young person, she had an instinctive appreciation of art and fashion in her heart.
After graduation, she followed her heart and when on to study fashion related courses in Mandalay. In 2014, Zin Zin joined Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts Singapore, to pursue a fashion design diploma.
In 2017, during her final year graduation show, she won the ‘Ready-To-Wear Award’ and graduated with Diploma in Fashion Design. In October 2017, Zin Zin was selected as one of the top 10 emerging designers and her collection was presented in Men’s Folio designer competition.
Quite recently in January 2018, she set up her first eponymous boutique - ZIN, in Mandalay, consisting of men’s and women’s wear.
Zin Zin carries out interdisciplinary research and frequently collaborates with different artists to create her uniquely treated creations. She is a relatively young designer stands tall today knowing that she has carved her own territory in the fashion industry where one risky move can make or break a designer. Zin Zin is an esteem member and fashion ambassador of the ASEAN Fashion Designer Showcase representing Myanmar.

One of Vietnam's top 5 fashion designers for both business and bridal wear, Pham Dang Anh Thu is considered as a trend setter with a great knowledge on customers’ requirements. Pham Dang Anh Thu has participated in many famous and reputed fashion fairs and fashion shows in Vietnam. And thus leading to much collaboration with distributors from Australia, America, China and Japan. Pham Dang Anh Thu is member of Western Canada Fashion Week, where she just showcased her collection this September at Edmonton.
