ABOUT NIKKI'S SHOW
Nikki Nouveau unveils the captivating life of Marlene Dietrich through song and story, reimagined through her famous character Lola Lola from the classic 1930s film The Blue Angel. This cabaret is set in Berlin during the Weimar era and explores the alluring enigma of Dietrich, from her early beginnings as a musician, an under-recognised performance career in cabaret and theatre, through to her emergence as a shining legend of the silver screen.
Featuring a repertoire of classic songs including Illusions, Lili Marlene and Falling In Love Again, accompanied by piano, with Nikki Nouveau on musical saw. Delivered in German, French and English.

In 1855, the wildest showgirl of the 19th century, Lola Montez, toured Australia and its goldfields. The scandal is legend.
Written by award-winning playwright Jackie Smith and directed by world famous cabaret star Moira Finucane comes the tale of the woman who horsewhipped the editor of the Ballarat Times for a bad review. Her erotic Spider Dance was “the most libertinish and indelicate performance that could be given on the public stage” (Sydney Morning Herald, 1855). She swung down mineshafts on a single rope with a flute of champagne in her hand. She escaped arrest dressed only in her jewels.
Revel in a tale woven by award-winning actress (and direct descendant of Lola herself) Caroline Lee, and Parisian dance siren Holly Durant.
Created in partnership with Her Majesty’s Ballarat.

The iconic and legendary Parisian Cabaret premiers in Australia for the first time in August 2017.
Crazy Horse Paris – also commonly referred as #LeCrazy – was founded by Alain Bernardin in 1951. For 65 years this famous Parisian Cabaret has entertained over 15 million patrons in its luxurious Paris theatre. Inspired by the endless theme of femininity, Le Crazy has perfected its creation of shows combining creativity and audacity with a stunningly beautiful cast of classically trained female dancers, performing bathed in rich coloured lights. The show presents itself as a unique kaleidoscope of beauty, grace, passion and precision.

The French press hails the show as “…spectacular!” (20 Minutes), while it qualifies it as a “feast for the senses” (Paris Match), and “the most beautiful show Paris currently has to offer” (Le Parisien).
Since its inception, Le Crazy Horse Paris has been dedicated to celebrating “la Femme” in a unique and creative way.
