The Fundraising Fashion Event presented by ModaRita , J & R FormalBoutique for Scripture Union Queensland that took place at the La Dolce Vita Milton on the 21 February 2021 photography: @Brett Styles (Inspired Oz) at Star Imaging @starimagingau please stay tuned for our review coming up soon special thanks: Rita Grigutiene The Soriano-Orodio Foundation Inc. Australia originally started in the Philippines and was founded by Nelda Estores family patriarch, the honorable, highly respected and successful banker, businessman and philantrophist , Mr Antono Soriano-Orodio. The Foundation strongly believes that education, especially for our youth is the hope of the future.
To honor the great legacy pg Mr Soriano-Orodio, Nelda Estores has decided to continue Antono's vision and his mission in alleviating the sad plight of the uneducated and disadvantaged. In Australia, the Soriano-Orodio Foundation was created on 6th June 2008 to coincide the birth month of our founder/patriarch. With the great support and generous outreach of family and friends, the foundation now has thirty four (34) recipients, all of whom are receiving financial support for their on-going education. Year 2020 counts 52 ongoing scholarship recipients, 4 graduated from the Universities and now gainfully employed supporting their families. We have also been helping 3 public school libraries in the Philippines (Northern and Southern regions), by soliciting and donating books and educational references to foster learning in those schools. There is one library building that has been completed in June 2018 and second library building is about to be started anytime soon. The organisation outreach has also extended to supporting a Nursing Home/Aged Care in General Santos City, which relies heavily on donations from all over the world. The block of land where this home is located was donated by a family member. photo of Nelda Estores: Peter Elgar MUAH: Mishel Vounatsos Bratsos gown: Vicki Popovski at Vicoola' Fashionista special thanks: Johanna Smith and Marchev Misha please make sure you check out our supporters, sponsors and associates: Super Lifestyle Australia with Johanna Smith https://www.superlifestyleaustralia.com/ Soriano-Orodio Foundation Inc. Adore ! Fresh and served with love! With that let me please wrap up my food posts for this month food: 5/5 service: 5/5 atmosphere 3/5 buy your book from us: https://www.entertainment.com.au/orderbooks/182v887 and keep entertained is at Gramercy Social. February 27 at 5:19 PM · Prahran, Melbourne · Dinner in prahran at one of my fav places here : crab spaghetti and salmon with kale ... best! Time to go home after a long day driving for props for the next shoot .. watch it! Entertainment Book offers you 50% off your mains . To buy your personal book through us so you can enjoy Australian cities even more follow https://www.entertainment.com.au/orderbooks/182v887 the dinner cost: was $32 for two .. I love my entertainment book New York yummy cheese cake + exceptional espresso rate: 3/5 atmosphere: 3/5 food: 3/5 (a bit oily for my taste, but overall ok) coffee 4/5 service 4/5 (except first time in my life and at this place in particular being with Entertainment Book - not very nice confusion with the bill however the ugly situation was solved) note: highly overpriced for the food offered IMHO // Gramercy Social is at Amora Hotel Riverwalk Melbourne. · At @fresco / now The Reserve Dining Room at Amora Hotel Riverwalk Melbourne for dinner - some yum yum - my full page review to follow- superb food , mind blowing coffee , immaculate service , romantic atmosphere to add Entertainment Book here we go: we ordered Fish of the Day The dish is a MUST to try a tender flesh fish fillet served with pomegranate seeds (cooked that I have never tried before and they so zesty and taste delish - like a very sweet lemon - I should try this for my own kitchen). and roasted vegetables on decoration. The dish is topped with finger lime, the exotic fruit with a very intense lemony flavour - like one whole lemon in a small pin head ball inside the pod. we also ordered mash and roasted young vegetables on the side coffee was not a must but still ordered it just for the sake of "dinner finishing" and OMG what a coffee was it!!! 100% MUST to get. Honestly , I keep visiting this place for the last 21 years regularly and that was the BEST experience I had there ! Thank you team !!! Biggest thank you to the chef who created that tasty beauty - no fuss but soooooo full of hear cooking - delishiously masterpiece: Nadeera Gajasinghe floor manager: Veenu Braun and Jacky, our table very attentive waiter... Just a small note: the restaurant ran out of bread and Jacky went out of his way to get the soft and crusty bread with butter for our table. So I give: 5/5 for service 10/5 for food 5/5 for atmosphere (the place got just refurbished and looks so nice and even better than before!) 10/5 for coffees So far it is my best place from the Entertainment Book experiences Have you got yours in front of you to go and investigate? https://www.entertainment.com.au/orderbooks/182v887 Melbourne’s Music Theatre Community Comes Together to Raise Funds for Victorian Bushfire Relief The MC Showroom, AWE Alliance and Homegrown Australian Musicals are proud to join forces to present Dolly Diamond’s Piano Bar Party - SWEET RELIEF at The MC Showroom in Prahran on Monday 3 February. Singer Kane Alexander, originally from Victoria’s Mallee district and who still has strong regional connections says, “This bunch of singers are grateful to be able to contribute to this event. For myself, having had my own experience with a fire threatening my home, I can just begin to imagine the fear faced by so many Australians in recent months. My heart goes out to all those who have lost so much. This concert is our community’s way of saying, ‘we want to help any way we can’. “ SWEET RELIEF Dolly Diamond’s Piano Bar Party 7.30pm - Monday 3rd February 2020 The MC Showroom, 48 Clifton St, Prahran Tickets: $25.00 - trybooking.com/BHUYM Make A Difference (MAD) PR / #MichaelJWilkie with Natasha Lukin at Ducky Brown Gateway. · Langwarrin, Melbourne · this is one of my other favorite places: Ducky Brown Cafe. Langwarrin, Victoria, Australia with their cool choices of food and that special touch that you expect from such place we both ordered egg breakfast with eggs benedict on sourdough bread with tomatoes, onion, avocado and beetroot - -yummmmmmm not sure about these guys coffees but the coffee at McClelland Sculpture Park+Gallery was sublime! atmosphere: 3/5 food: 4.5/5 service: 4/5 (no salt on the table and hard to find on the other tables) the food is amazing but the menu is a bit messy to be honest and hard to find something that we wanted. plus they have dishes that are not on the menu - you have to search for them as the photos are at the front counter and no price to them too... -just the photos... IMHO this cafe was 10 times better two years ago. but lunch / breakfast in a good company does not make you notice small things... you still want to buy our Entertainment Book? yes? https://www.entertainment.com.au/orderbooks/182v887 I adore this kitchen : healthy, freshest , zesty and always surprising in taste ... at Now & Then Cafe Kew . We ordered ocean squid salad and soba noodles and smoked salmon salad and very refreshing on s hot day ! Delish! CRISPY SQUID SALAD goes with thai herbs, mild chili, oranges , cashews and veggies. it is very hard for me to say what are the ingregients of the seasoning for this salad but it is makes a big difference to the zesty taste of this dish: it is sweet, salty and sour at the same time but in a very mild and balanced way SOBA NOODLES SALAD consists of Asian herbs, cucumber , avocado, carrots, edamame, kale, toasted sesame, and coleslaw with roasted sesame dressing. we ordered the dish with smoked salmon. COFFEE adding to this a note: the coffee was horrible and tasted like the one made out of the instant jars - nescafe or something... not good - mimus points for this one it is actually one of my favourite offers from Entertainment Book ... atmosphere: 5/5 food: 4.5/5 coffee: 0 service: 2/5 the Entertainment Book is valid till July 2020 and will let you travel across Victoria's best places with joy: plus when you buy from us you will support our magazines with $15 from each sale https://www.entertainment.com.au/orderbooks/182v887 that will not help us of course to live but will show your appreciation to what we do! please fill up your calendars with these events: TUESDAY, December 10 Masquerade Xmas Garden Party at Hellenic Museum // European Women in Business https://www.europeanwomeninbusiness.com.au/masqueradexmasga… / Janine Lum THURSDAY, December 12 Playing With Fire movie release // Paramount Pictures https://tickets.playingwithfire.movie/ Playmobil: The Movie national release // STUDIOCANAL http://www.studiocanal.com.au/ Marianne & Leonard: Words of Love 2019 film release https://www.marianneandleonardwordsoflove.com/ // Universal Pictures Australia Black Christmas movie release // Universal Pictures Australia https://www.universalpictures.com.au/micro/black-christmas #TheIdealPalace movie national release http://www.vendettafilms.co.nz/FilmDetail.aspx?FID=2281 // #VendettaFilms please note these gorgeous additions to our associates list: Makeup artistry by juedd mari by MUAH Juedd Mari call 0490 946 299 www.facebook.com/Makeup-artistry-by-juedd-mari-100814504728305/ #TheDeerPark / Terramirra Park Deer Farm // Michael Vella / #TimVella call 0429382379 https://www.terramirradeer.com.au/ Alternative View Alpaca Stud https://www.alternativeview.net.au/ call 0427201192 // #BrigitteKat #KeithKat Masquerade Xmas Garden Party at Hellenic Museum by European Women in Business // Janine Lum https://www.europeanwomeninbusiness.com.au/masqueradexmasga… European Women in Business cordially invite you to
