· Colac · Guys and girls if you ever pass the great ocean road area please find an extra 1 hour to make a trip and pop into this very much special fish and chips humble cafe known only by locals by highly praised by many on google. The owners know exactly how to do it with love . The photo in front of you covers two barramundi , min chips and small salad - could not finish this 23$ meal and had to take half home . We were given three (instead of two) most generous so bloody tasty and juicy fish ( their batter is made from real eggs I know as an experienced home cook !!!) the min chips are enough for three people and cost only $3 and the Greek salad is the one you would make for your own family for Christmas so delicious it is !! All my thumbs up ! When we are in the GOR area we always pass this shop on the way back home ! The customers come there in flocks hungry of different age category and diverse looks , the young guys who serve you actually smile , they are tired but they smile ! Superb! 100 out of 10 from me and I finally heard my husband laughing and telling lots of jokes after this dinner which is an exceptional sign !!
[ I also just read this online - please follow: "I was speechless when a fella told me yesterday the effort they put into their business. This man and his wife travel from Melbourne to Colac every day to earn a living. Lots of us do the same thing. I know. This is the unbelievable part. He gets up and head's to the fish market every morning for fresh fish. Then they leave 4 children and drive up here where they open APOLLO Seafood. I have never seen him with out a smile. No matter how busy always puts in his absolute all. Savasse Savvas Perisanidis your wife and yourself are truly two of a kind. Tracey and I had this for lunch yesterday and as always Beautiful. When something is done with so much passion everyday for many years sooner or later someone or many will in some way make sure you know you're passion is inspiring. Cheers." ]
