I have just been to “Beautiful ”, The Carol King Tribute, and was mesmerized by Josh Piterman’s performance as the leading lady’s husband and song writing partner, Gerry Goffin. This latest album by the one time member of the The Ten Tenors, is just as superb. Another memorable performance indeed. The album features 12 covers with either a classical take, or performed in Italian or Spanish. Accompanied by such a beautiful orchestra, the sound is powerful and rich.
I absolutely loved the variety of songs, just as Josh Piterman does. He chose songs that were meaningful and significant to him. The cover of “ Say Something “ is so moving. It absolutely brought me to tears. As did the classic Leonard Cohen’s “ #Hallelujah “. Magnificent.
“A Thousand Years”
from the iconic “Twilight” series is one of my favourite songs and Josh’s cover is nothing short of brilliant.
My love of musical theatre combined with classical music and romantic pop, makes listening to this album easy, leaving me feeling good inside.
I simply can’t stop myself singing along.
I highly recommend this album.
You won’t be disappointed.
I give Josh Piterman’s 2018 release a 9/10 on the “Cashy scale”.
Bohemian Rhapsody Club and Magazine expresses its special thanks to Josh and his super talent and god's given voice, Catalyst PR and personally #CatSwinton for this amazing opportunity to review Josh's first album and Susie for her observations.
