Today's review of the composer's two albums
1. Breath of Life
2. Song of Love for The Animals
review by Jeanette Russell
1. Lia Scallon's Breath of life is full of amazing, breathtaking and soothing sounds featuring her famous Sounds of Sirius Healings. The purpose of the CD is to bring nourishment a healing to the soul. Taking the listener on a deep journey to stir the soul to recognize its own destiny. Sweet, angelic and haronous sounds ensue. I highly recommend a listen, to this wonderfully creative and clever lady.
Lia began this transforming work over 15 yrs ago. She is an award winning sound healer , singer and composer. The personal journey of discovery Lia took in the 1990s and early 2000s lead to her studying various healing modalities. Lia embarked on this education and a sabbatical after her own health issues.
It has been said that the vocals and vibrations of the " Sounds of Sirius" are like "coming home". Lia is a phenomenal vocalist and she is backed by the magic of David Jones. He is a musician who uses tibetan sing bowls and bells Japanese ancestral bowls chinese wind gong, and carillon crystal bowls amongst many different and diverse instruments. .
Thank you so much for the opportunity to review and listen to Lia's inspiring work.
2. Lia Scallon's Song of love for the animals is a unique and outstanding CD, I was so personally touched by it as I nursed a very ill pony who seemed to be so comforted by the loving nurturing and glorious sounds. It is one of the healing with the sounds of Sirius collection. I really appreciate the opportunity to review and listen to this incredible music.
Lia was born in Ireland and now lives in Australia. She has had an interesting career. First as a performing artist, then an actress and now a singer.
Lia has said that " Science has opened up the possibility of the worlds beyond our own, and many of us are now stirring to the remembrance of our Starseed heritage". She also imparts words of wisdom, " it is through the gateway represented by the brilliant blue-white star Sirius that all energy enters your universe - the energy that is your very Soul and Spirit, the energy of your Higher Self"
I feel animals give us so much and are a joy to have in our lives. We are very blessed, I believe to have them with us. They are an integral part of nature and are giving and caring. It has been so lovely to have a CD dedicated to these special beings.
The CD really moved me, and my four legged friends. The sounds from the song of love for the animals were divine, smooth, delightful, and comforting. Lia is such a creative, healing, and spiritual person, in my experience. Thank you for the chance to hear this wonderous music. I highly recommend it for anyone, but especially those with precious companions from the animal kingdom.
