The St Kilda Branch
Popped in for a casual Friday night dinner at The St Kilda Branch tonight with our Entertainment Book Voucher.
Arriving at around 6.00pm, the restaurant was mainly filled with friends grabbing after dinner drinks. Beer on tap, cocktails and friendly service behind the bar! A nice relaxed atmosphere, people were drinking and having snacks both inside and out in the sun.
We ordered a couple of steaks and a salad - with our voucher, the total bill was under $40! I’ve paid more than that before for 1 steak, so I was pretty sold on the place from the onset! For those who don’t have an Entertainment Book Voucher, The St Kilda Branch has 30% off all meals on Friday nights anyway!! What a great deal!!!
My salad was beautiful- Honey Roasted Pumpkin. It had just the right amount of goats cheese, caramelised pumpkin, toasted almonds, balsamic blistered cherry tomatoes mixed with spinach and rocket - all blended beautifully with a caramelised dressings
The steaks were 250g grass fed porterhouse. Served with both salad and chips and a choice of gravy, peppercorn or mushroom sauce. The steaks were beautifully cooked, the chips were beer battered and delicious and the salad was a side serve of tomatoes, cucumber, red onion and lettuce.
Once it hit 7:00pm, the music gets turned up to create a funky Friday night hangout. If you’re looked for a relaxed atmosphere and decent food around the St Kilda area definitely give The St Kilda Branch a go!
