Plus at 1pm our Historic Cheese Market performance where you can see amazing spectacle of how Dutch cheeses were bought and sold. Admire our replica Dutch #Windmills which are positioned throughout the tulip fields and gardens, great for a photo or two! We have Dutch themed photo freezes. The best of Dutch fare with traditional treats from #Poffertjes to sausages and everything in between.
Our tractor train departs from the Tulip Station regularly, taking in the gorgeous scenery as it tours the farm. Passengers will enjoy audio full of information about how the farm began and how we grow and care for all the flowers. This is a wheelchair friendly ride and people with limited mobility and their carers ride free. Anyone over 4 is $5, under 4 are free of charge. Groups of four are $15. There is a huge range of food available every day. Including such Dutch treats as Poffertjes, #Croquettes, Dutch #Kibbeling (fish), #Reifkoek (Dutch Potato Cakes), #Frikandellen (Sausage dish), Gozleme, Baked Potatoes, Potato Twisters, Cakes, Calamari, Double Dutch Soft Serve, #Belgian Fries just to name a few. You are welcome to bring a picnic too. Our food stall prices range from $3 to $23.
Market and food stalls are showing off their wares every day at the #Tesselaar Tulip Festival. Choose from thousands of unique souvenirs, many imported direct from #Holland, including wooden clogs and tulips. Yes, that’s right, the Australia’s largest wooden shoe is on display at the Tesselaar Tulip Festival. Visitors are welcome to jump in for a photo! The best way to get to Tesselaar Tulip Festival is to get a group of family and friends together and take a scenic drive through the #Dandenong Ranges to Silvan, home of the Tesselaar Tulip Festival. “I am honoured to have had the mentoring and support from Cosentino which has helped develop my skills and performance said Luke, “I’ve really focused on all aspects of my craft in REBORN so that everyone can have something to look forward to. From the atmosphere in the theatre to the costumes, illusions and even a piece of the show that every audience member will be able to take home with them to remember the special moment. I’m really looking forward to showing regional Victoria the boundaries I have pushed,” said Luke. Luke first became interested in magic at the age of 8, performing tricks for his family and friends. From there he performed at children’s birthday parties and then was asked to perform at several private and corporate functions where his reputation started to spread.
Luke, having honed his craft to perfection, was ready to take his show on the road at 18 when his arm was mauled by the family dog and he faced a life-altering injury that resulted in the loss of movement in his arm for several months. Through sheer determination and extensive physio and training, he defied the odds and regained the use of his arm, solidifying his status as an inspiration to all. Then Covid hit putting his show on hold yet again. He is now thrilled and excited to be able to start his first tour of Regional Victoria. At just 22 years old, Luke has already produced four astonishing shows, each leaving audiences awestruck and hungry for more. Starting his career with his first debut show in 2018, “The First Chapter”, he was encouraged by the overwhelming response from the public with sell-out audiences. His second show “Odyssey” performed to sell-out audiences again as part of The Melbourne Magic Festival in 2022. One month after Odyssey, came Reborn and audiences were thrilled to see his new death-defying water escape. The Fox Classic Car Collection, housed in the historic Queen’s Warehouse, contains dozens of the world’s most rare and prestigious vehicles. These cars have been collected over a 50-year period by Lindsay Fox, Founder of Australian logistics company #Linfox, and donated to a Trust to raise funds for charity and for the public to enjoy. Lindsay has a passion for classic vehicles, with his collection including models from Mercedes Benz, #Jaguar, #Porsche, #Ferrari, #Bentley, #Volkswagen, #Ford, Rolls Royce, #MG, #Lexus and #Nissan between 1923 and 2020.
Some vehicles have previously been owned by Ringo Starr, Bing Crosby and Bob Jane to name a few. The collection is steeped in history, one-off prototypes, and cars that dreams are made of.
