RizeUp Australia is a community-driven organisation of passionate men and women, dedicated to supporting the many families affected by domestic and family violence. Whilst we raise awareness through speaking engagements, the victims of Family and Domestic Violence need more than talk. They need practical help – and they need it fast! That’s where RizeUp makes a very real difference. We have created various programs to support and empower the brave families via the specialist domestic and family violence organisations (for security reasons, we do not directly meet the families we support) – from helping to create a new home for victims fleeing a violent household and supporting children in their healing process, to raising much-needed funds for families left with nothing but the clothes on their backs.
Founded by CEO Nicolle Edwards and joined by an outstanding team of men and women from all walks of life, along with Patrons Shelley Craft, Mia Freedman, Petero Civoniceva, Simone O’Brien and Cameron and Allison Daddo.
About the venue
A luxurious lakeside venue, delivering a modern aesthetic with custom made recycled banquettes, elk chandeliers, a stone fireplace with raw timber mantle, bookshelf with ladder, deep leather armchairs, picturesque gardens and breath-taking water views. Located just ten minutes from Mooloolaba and just over an hour's drive from Brisbane, the award-winning design includes The Pavilion, an outdoor Alfresco Deck and a luxurious function room for up to 180 seated guests or 250 guests cocktail style.

The Soriano-Orodio Foundation,Inc. Australia originally started in the Philippines and was founded by our family patriarch, the honorable, highly respected and successful banker, businessman and philantropist , Mr Antono Soriano-Orodio. The Foundation strongly believes that education, especially for our youth is the hope of the future. To honor his great legacy, I decided to continue his vision and his mission in alleviating the sad plight of the uneducated and disadvantaged. In Australia, the Soriano-Orodio Foundation was created on 6th June 2008 to coincide the birth month of our founder/patriarch.
With the great support and generous outreach of family and friends, we now have 54 recipients, all of whom are receiving financial support for their on-going education, four scholarship recipients graduated & gainfully employed.
We have also been helping 3 public school libraries in the Philippines (Northern and Southern regions), by soliciting and donating books and educational references to foster learning in those schools. Our outreach has also extended to supporting a Nursing Home/Aged Care in General Santos City,
Grand Star Receptions and Conventions Centre, an Award-Winning reception venue is specialised in delivering an absolutely unforgettable Wedding Day experience and in catering for all corporate function types and sizes.
