The Two Of Us. Starring Normie Rowe & Denise Drysdale. Backed by The Playboys.
Normie and Denise have been friends since they were teenagers. When they met, Normie was an emerging recording artist appearing on The GO!! Show, and Denise was recognised as Australia’s first go-go dancer on a new music show, Kommotion. Their careers since have seen them enjoy success across the entertainment spectrum. While enjoying a string of hits that includes - “Shakin’ All Over”, “Quer Sera Sera”, “It Ain’t Necessarily So”, and “Ooh La La”, Normie was at the peak of his pop stardom when he was called up and spent two years in the Army including service in Vietnam. On his return, he re-established his career in major Sydney Clubs, and on television, and his memorable role as Jean Valjean in “Les Miserable”.
Denise’s dancing career took a back seat when she became Ernie Sigley’s barrel girl on his national “The Ernie Sigley Show”. Ding Dong had arrived. Her television and theatre credits are too many to mention but her love of entertaining continues in theatres and clubs across the country. “THE TWO OF US” is a not-to-be-missed opportunity to enjoy the skills and charm of these two national treasures. There’ll be hits. There’ll be surprises.
It might not be politically correct but it will be a lot of fun!

Disney On Ice presents 100 Years of Wonder in six-city national tour this June and July! It’s the wonder we all grew up with – from the utter joy of Mickey and Minnie Mouse to the intergalactic adventures of Buzz Lightyear and Woody and the epic tale of Elsa and Anna in Frozen, to the bravery of Moana and the magical worlds of The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin and more.
In 2023 this wonder will be celebrated as Disney on Ice presents 100 Years of Wonder comes to Australia in a stunning six-city tour taking in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney and Newcastle over June and July.
Mickey Mouse and pals start the party, with Captain Hook’s treasure map taking them through Tinker Bell’s immersive, fantastic worlds. Audiences will laugh as hilarious pirates flip, tumble, and twist on tumble tracks and stilts as they show off for Captain Hook. Then, the colourful spirit realm of Disney Pixar’s Coco is explored before Moana sails across the ice as she bravely saves her island from the fiery wrath of Te Ka, Belle is seen in the sky as the enchanted chandelier comes to life, and of course the entire crowd will sing-along with Elsa in the icy world of Frozen. When Buzz Lightyear, Woody and Jessie recruit the Green Army Men for a daring rescue in Andy’s room, the power of teamwork is everything!

The Winterfest Sydney Medieval Fair is an annual event usually held during the school holidays in July; taking place over the weekend, it’s one of the region’s most exciting #historical events.
The event features an array of medieval-oriented activities and entertainment for all ages to be enjoyed throughout both of the days; some of which offer a glimpse into life in the past – all while being filled with fun and entertainment. Historical re-enactment groups act out times from the #Viking and #DarkAges, all the way to the 1600s. Guests are invited to try on armour, play #medieval games, and hold weapons. Other entertainment highlights include medieval archery, live-action fantasy role play, and archery combat, among others.
Head over to the Merchants’ Row, where you can browse curated vendors selling a fascinating array of items and try some exotic food. The Artisan Alley is where you’ll find traditional crafts and even learn new skills from artisans themselves. The program of events also includes the kids’ corner, live-action role-play, medieval animal farm, an equestrian area, pageant theatre, mermaids, and more. Don’t miss out on the annual costume and cosplay competition, where individuals vie for the prize by dressing up in incredible medieval costumes.
So be sure to come in your best outfit if you’d like a chance to win. The competition is free to join; contestants are also welcome to come in garb inspired by The Lord of the Rings or Game of Thrones. There will also be over a dozen food vendors, selling varied snacks and dishes including pizza, pancakes, sausages, burgers, and more. The Winterfest Sydney Medieval Fair is located at the Hawkesbury Showground, which has free parking on-site, and the Clarendon railway station is located just a two-minute walk away from the gates. Tickets may be purchased online or at the gates.
