candied oranges in chocolate

25/4/2020

Candied oranges in chocolate with walnuts
🍊 X4 medium size
2 cups sugar brown
💧X1 cup water (sugar + water to boil and cool down)
Slice oranges and soak in sugar water for 2 nights
Oven 100C degrees
2-3 hours with slightly open oven
Cool down
🍫 chocolate is always better to leave to the experts to make but if you dare... plus I needed a vegan option so:
Cacao powder
🥥 coconut butter
Sugar brown
A pinch of Himalayan pink salt
Soy milk
Warm up on boiling water bath for 1 min and mix thoroughly
Dip orange slices in melted chocolate and decorate while warm with small pieces of walnuts in cacao powder
Place the orange slices on baking paper and hide in the fridge : two reason for this : 1. For the orange slice to cool down 2. So no one can see them 3. There definitely should be the third reason -oh yes, so YOU can not see them YOURSELF otherwise there will be nothing left to photograph (!!) here we go : process and grand finale

people just a warning to be careful now with your postage!
1. two of envelopes with a number of expensive movie tickets were lost in mail - one sent in December , one sent just a couple of weeks before cinemas closure by our agent Annette Smith
2. our two new iPhones were delivered (not to us!!) , signed on delivery (not by us!!!) and vanished, took the company a month to investigate and re-deliver . what we planned to get in two days was treated highly negligibly and ended up with my long time consuming trip to the delivery depot to clear things out . It looks like the post turns into sleeping flies department...should not it be Royal?
3. the package that we were supposed to get from Germany sent by one of the fashion brands for our shoot got lost in space forever and Aus company wing marketing department had to re-deliver from their own local samples stock (no company named here but I am grateful as t was all treated professionally, with respect and we were safe at our shoot without loosing the face in front of the models)
4. not mentioning here all endless mail that got lost and never found when we were living in Canterbury and used to get 1-2 packages of goods per day
5. the top of the cake: I posted back three dresses by leading fashion company in Queensland back to the owner who allowed us to borrow the outfits for our flower garden shoot . 11 March till today, 21 April was the traveling time of the package! close to 6 weeks! just WOW!!
This is my warning to you all who post the packages and other mail : use express, have the tracking numbers to follow (though this hardly helped us with the iPhones) and get prepared to the longest delays. If express post is not affordable please ask for the options of the pick up or delivered by friends if it is done in the same city. It is safer this way and will prevent loss and additional stress for both sides!.. st a reminder to myself too as I do same mistakes with my own postage over and over again!

Gods' Food

25/4/2020

OK AFTER A LONG BREAK I RESUMED MY POSTS ABOUT GODS' FOOD
I did not see though any dishes I could add here to accompany my story...
But just today I was making the apple and pear sharlottka (modified Russian apple pie)
so I included the recipe here as well
🥚X6 chicken eggs medium size
1 cup brown sugar
1+1/3 cup of flour
1/8 tsp baking soda
organic raspberry vinegar
🍎X1 small apple and 🍐X2 pears
bake for 40 min 180 degrees or till the middle part of the cake does not move
Decorate cow pure cream whipped and 🍓Xn Wild strawberries
Eat with lychee black tea
Enjoy !
Eating food from the naked body has its own traditions that are older than we think. We refer to Gods who brought assorted recipes for foods to Earth. It also looks like an ancient way of scarifying human flesh to Gods. When you eat from the naked body of a woman the food smells and tastes with the natural aroma of the woman - simply delicious. The food this way is also energized by a very special energy. Talking about the civilizations that were living on Earth before us and that were much more advanced in all ways than us, we ask: what did they eat? Please do not laugh... Let's say, it is one of the quetsions we ask... We want to look like them, we want to follow them and we want to do what they did. We eventually ask the other question: what our physical bodies are composed with? It is one aspect. The second aspect is the energy of the Sun and the minerals that are part of the food we consume. Food supports our body in its functions and allows us to continue to live on this food for generations. The secrets of cooking food are also passed from generation to generation. The secrets are the gifts of Gods, left to us, humans.
In the ancient time one of the villages was visited by the Goddess of Food and Crops. She appeared in front of the villagers as a common young girl. She picked up a pomegranate from the tree. She really liked the young man from the village and she wanted to surprise him. The young man was fishing. The Goddess broke the pomegranate in two halves. The beautiful kernels were falling down in water next to his boat and turning into an amber cup. The cup then got filled in by the colored beans. She started playing with the beans and the young man could see the beans turning into the juice of a dark color like the oils coming from the pine tree. The juice was pouring through the fingers of the Goddess. The fish became a bit salty and very tasty because of these juice drops. The Goddess gifted the humans SOY SAUCE.
It was just a tale but the Asian people use soy sauce for more than 5000 years. Its fermenting is very similar to wine making. It is also made out by special yeasts but instead of the grapes people use soy beans. Many producers these days do not use natural fermentation process of the soy as this process takes sometimes months and years... To make the process faster and cheaper the soy gets boiled in special acids and chemicals. The soy sauce we use in food these days is half-chemicals, meaning: synthetic. It is not the same food of Gods as we received it centuries ago. It is modified. Soy beans are not the same any more too as the ancient people knew it. For the crops to grow soy is sprayed by chemicals and the beans are genetically modified of course. If such soy beans are given to the rats the rats develop cancer or get bold as well as they loose their ability to reproduce.
Nevertheless let's go back to the ancient times of agriculture, to the times when soy was healthy for humans. How did the cave and uneducated people found out about the qualities of soy beans? People found out about food and the ways to treat it by their own experience and sneaking to their neighbors of course. But who was that first chef who taught people what food to take and how to cook it. And why soy beans are sacred for the Asian nation?
Asian people believe that the ways to prepare soy beans was given to the humans by Gods. These Gods came from the other stars. Meat was not a traditional food for the Asian nations. Their main food ingredient was soy always. Following ancient Chinese, Indians, Aztecs and Maya's myths and legends, centuries ago people were all vegetarians. Meat was not on their tables. The proteins were taken from the soy bean. Someone had to know that there are twice as much as protein in beans than in meat. More to that: soy beans contain lots of copper ions. Melanin gets developed in human bodies because of copper. It is skin pigment. Our skin is resistant to damaging parts of sun rays only because of the this pigment.
Black cockroaches can survive the nuclear disaster. The reason for his is melanin. The mushrooms around Chernobyl AES survived the strong radiation only because of the melanin that they contained. Not only atmosphere and our magnetic fiend of the Earth protect all living creatures on Earth from the damaging sun radiation; melamine plays a huge role in this protection of the living creatures. It is natural pigment. Humans carry it in their skin, flesh and hair. The lack of melanin can be a cause of damaged eye vision and other dangerous mutations. Melanin not only protects us from the damaging ultra violet rays and radiation but it also prevents these damaging mutations of the living creatures. Such mutations can turn humans into beasts. All thanks to copper and melanin that is present in the vegetarian food we are protected from this. Melanin is part of the shells of many crustaceans. Scientists know how to extract melanin from the plants and animals. Melanin can stop cancer growing and it also rejuvenates the living creatures. This was one of the gifts given to all creatures when the World as we know it was created. The humanity was created by an advanced civilizations that arrived to Earth from the far away stars. They were Gods who created humans and all living creatures on our planet.
Claude Valerian was the researcher who was trying to prove the celestial origins of humans. He believes that Gods who descended from the skies to Earth left the DNA code on our planet. Using genetic modifications they created all the living creatures on Earth. We are programmed and we are the children of the "alien" grand minds. We are the product of high technologies. We are the result of the scientific experiment.
The writer Alexander Kazantsev believes that the aliens have visited our planets millions of years ago. The theory of paleocontact has lots of followers. According to this theory our ancestors had contacts with the other civilizations. This version of course differs from the officially and scientifically accepted doctrine.... but there are proofs that confirm such theory. The followers trust that such proof can be found in the ancient texts. Take the Bible. It mentions someone descending to Earth from skies on the flaming carriages. Old Testimony reads the words of the Ezekiel prophet who was born in 622 BC: He writes: the flight of the God and his angels was accompanied by the unbearable noise and a cloud of smoke. He also talked about the creature with four heads who moved across in the spherical glowing vehicle. We ask the logical question: why God needs any vehicles? Not really!!!??... as God is everywhere, is not He?..
We can take these Gods as aliens. According to the legends these Gods lived next to the people. They helped people in development and self-improvement. Gods taught humans agriculture, culture, languages and writing. These Gods knew the secrets of the creation. Before creating the very first man and the first woman the Gods created the infrastructure that would support their future creations for generations. It was one huge selection work with plants and animals. They were following not only human interests but their own as well. Gods from Olympus were eating human food too. The Amorphous goat was mentioned often. The Goat was feeding Zeus with her milk.
Milk and honey are the biblical food. In the Paradise the rivers are made of milk and honey. Grapes are also Gods' food. They are the bricks of creation. The human flesh was fed with these food as well. Looks like not the labor made us humans but some gourmet program that was developed by Gods and was part of our DNA. According to this program our planet was populated with so much variety of creatures including humans. It was millions of years ago. These experiments helped to create our human race as we know it now. The myths and legends of many countries across the world repeat each other word to word when they describe the Gods' visits to Earth. Korean God Uka, Ossetian God Wasilla, or the Slavic God Perun, they all have very close similarities with South America, Indian and Chinese Gods. They all were helping humans to look after the crops. Gods were everywhere present in human's life. Where they came from was the secret we sill do not know. The cooking recipes were also given to humans by Gods. In old times people were not allowed to cook in a bad mood. The food was never consumed while people were angry or upset. If your wife cooks her food in a bad mood you will get a stomach ache for sure. She gives the food her energy.
We cook daily. For some people it is just a routine. For some it is a sacred ritual full of deep meaning. The old manuscripts say: food you eat influences not only your mind and spirit but it also helps you develop your ethical character features. The woman who cooks for man in the family creates the base for her relationship with her man. She practically creates her future through food cooking. If woman rushes and cooks bad food her man will never stay long with her. As a mater of fact he iwll never stay with her at all. On the contrary, the tasty meals that the patient woman creates bond the family together and make the man stay in the family with kids for a long time.
However the best cooks are not women, no mater how paradoxical it is. Men are the best cooks on Earth. The Gods gave the fire to men not to women. The Gods also shared their first recipes of cooking on fire with men, not women. Food cooked on wood fire and its warmth is different from the gas cooked food. The energy of the Sun is given to the food and it is transferred to food when you cook it on real fire. We get part of the Sun, our star in our food when we cook in such fire. We are celestial and this food tastes so natural! The food made on real fire tastes differently, true... It is our health as we treat this food with the light from the Sun. We have this knowledge in our DNA code. The food made on fire in open air, in nature amoug trees with no rush is sacred. This is what we call: Gods' food!
All men on Earth are potentially excellent cooks even if they still do not know about it yet. It comes to men so naturally. When man starts to cook he will do it in perfection. It looks like men have a special program in their DNA. Many of them do it subconsciously.
Do you know that some animals make wine for themselves on purpose? Elephants are a good example. They collect fruit and put them in one place, cover the fruit with leaves for the fruit to start fermenting, then after some time they return to this same place and drink the wine. Birds, insects and bees do the same but they eat the old berries that start fermenting on trees naturally.
Cheese was a very important product in ancient times. It was different from the cheeses that we have now as the milk was not pasteurized back then. Cheese mould technology is close to 4,000 years old. The ants knew it longer though: they know blue mould technology for 130,000 years! It is like a program: some of our programs with animals are the same.
We believe now that we are Gods. People since ancient time tried to copy Gods. Yes we are Gods, we are free in our actions, we can also do things that the other creatures can not do. We have our minds, we have our handss, we have talents and technology. Yes, people are Gods: we know how to cross the oceans, weld the metals, split the atoms, fly to the Moon, crack the codes of the dead languages and much much more. But no matter how awful it sounds but the progress engines were always most cruel wars - always and only wars! Only after the economy vanishes and dies out (as it does after many wars) it can take another cycle, another spin and start growing again...
Canned food appeared when Napoleon decided to invade Russia. Napoleon also thought he was God. No, it was a bad thought: you can not image that you are God if you invade Russia - wrong way! Joke but in every joke there is a joke! Back to the invader: Napoleon had a task to feed his army on the long trips. How could he go on such long trips without food. How can you save food fresh on such trips? How the ancient travelers conserve their food? They would keep meat under the horse saddle!!! No jokes! Sauerkraut is one more way to keep cabbage. Cabbage preserving and marinated cucumbers methods were also well known for centuries. Napoleon announced competition to create a food that would be preserved for a long time. The winner would be getting 12,000 franks, huge money for those times! Nicola Appert was the one who invented the famous Napoleon cake. he got the prize for canned food invention! The first cans were kept in glass containers with vinegar and salt.
First yeast mushrooms were grown by nazists on corps and human bones in concentration camps. They were used to bake cheap bread for the prisoners. Yeast bread appeared after the bread-bread though as the first bread was baked with no yeast in Egypt and many other countries.
Each time the new civilization would emerge it would face a problem: ii would reject the Gods' given knowledge and would use what technology would offer them. This is the wrong way of pretending that people are Gods. They are not! We carry their genes but we will never be Gods.
Do you knew there are some plants that prevent people from conceiving? Wild carrots, some varieties of cabbage, lemon, mint, thyme, but none of the plants give you 100% warranty that the woman will not conceive, so condoms are always a better choice here. This is how humans plan: they plan demography, they plan births, but it is always the same: when people plan, Gods rule and they laugh at the humans .
Christmas, as a tradition, falls on winter solstice and includes lots of pagan traditions that include praising Gods. We are praising Gods with lots of food on the table. It is also a new star raising which people wait for and celebrate. Kutya is the food Slavic people put on the table as a tradition for the Christmas celebration. This food represents good family with healthy kids and wealth. Kutya contains lots of grains. Volos or Veles was a powerful ancient Russian God. He was the God who protected human cattle: herds of cows and horses, basically all domestic animals. In Christianity Veles was turned into an evil spirit or devil. Garlic was used to protect people from the evil forces. Garlic is the plant full of mysteries. We have many cosmic civilisations that inhabited the Earth: we have demonic civilizations here too. Some people conceder garlic to be not useful, taking it as a frightening plant for demons and they hang it in the rooms to protect the house and its entrance from the dark forces. Garlic is an evil eye protector as well and it cleanses the space around. Its oils rejuvenate the air. We can assume that Garlic was created by the higher forces to absorb the negative energies around us, burn them so they would not harm people. Wild garlic still remains as it was in nature and the nowdays agricultural garlic did not go far from its wild relative. Wild garlic appeared long time before our civilization. The higher technology civilizations cultivated garlic at the time of their being as well. Wild garlic grows is the mountain regions and we connect the mountains with the Gods' homes.
All the plants that we use as our foods more or less have magical powers. To say that we know everything about them is a statement of illusion. We know nothing about them. Ancient people believed that all the processes that took place on Earth were done under Gods' control, Gods who descended on Earth from the skies. Can we say now that it was any different way? What do you think?

new challenge is announced!

 ATTENTION TO ALL CREATIVE MINDS:
photographers, actors, designers, writers, models, artists, stylists, MUAHs, artistic directors.,.. and others alike
there is the challenge described:
In his absorbing web series http://www.dictionaryofobscuresorrows.com/ , writer and editor #JohnKoenig gives names to deep longings and vague feelings in the form of brief, beautiful videos. Subtitled "For lack of a better world". Koenig tries to create a better world by calling attention to sensations that made you think, "maybe it's just me, but…"
His ' The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows' is a compendium of #InventedWords. Each original word and its definition aims to fill a hole in the language - to give a name to emotions we all might experience but don't yet have a word for.
The author has a ferocious curiosity about the art and science of being human, especially language, mythology, poetry, and the natural world. His dictionary has been acclaimed by New York Magazine, Washington Post Express, author John Green, blogger Jason Kottke, and the guys from Radiolab Podcast. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=26JK_Xw_laQ
we used many of Koenig's amazing words before as the inspirational key words for our magazines in the past.
the next word is
ANCHORAGE
The desire to hold on to time as it passes, like trying to keep your grip on a rock in the middle of a river, feeling the weight of the current against your chest while your elders float on downstream, calling over the roar of the rapids, “Just let go—it’s okay—let go.” Plenty of things in life come to an end, but there are some that you just do not want to let go of. There are a thousand stories that you will always remember because of where and when they happened. There are moments that we will forever hold on to, no matter how hard you need to loosen up your grip it will stay with you, but before you know it, it will all just be a blur and you won’t remember anything. You will try, and remember the things that have happened to you the summer after you are done, and then as the time begins to age, you slowly forget the memories that you made over the four years of high school. Time and memories will begin to fade away, as it goes away we will try and keep these memories in our heads and our hearts, but soon after a while your brain will slowly begin to let go of these memories so you can have more room for new memories. It may seem like no big deal, but one day you will try and look back on those memories and will not be able to recall them as well as you once had. Once the rapids come. You can no longer hold on to something you once treasured for so long, all you can do is let go, and hope that it turns out for the best. It might seem like the worst thing to do, but in the end it might be a good thing.
I want somehow though to connect such memories to the accessories you wore: hats, bags, jewelry, headpieces, shoes... It feels like you find that bag you wore some years back, you suddenly find it in your wardrobe and the memories come back: whom you were with, what else did you wear.. .what did you talk about, what did you drink and eat, and much more. If you find an item in that bag that will be even more exciting as it will be another thread to connect you , but no matter how hard you try, you will not remember everything from those days...
ANNOUNCING COMPETITION

just a note...

Sometimes I think I work for months just to receive these notes of appreciation and to start smiling widely and sillinessly again :
“Hey Natasha,
I have been inundated with comments and "likes" for my post re the front cover. I'm very happy with the end product and hope that more shoots will be forthcoming.
The internal pages look fabulous even when viewed low res from your website.
[...]
When all this [...] is over we should catch up for a caffeine and a chat.
Keep up the awesome publication.
Best wishes, [BS]🙂”
Thank you so much dear soul and unnamed cover talent !!!!
Honestly. had a tough day yesterday with endless phone calls , empty messages, energy vampiring and breaking up some connections that did not work anymore ... I have to admit that this message was a breath of fresh air ! Thank you so much ... I think I work only as a mediator in many collaborations for the final results delivery : be it print (between you and graphic designer or btw photogrsphers snd models but sometimes I notice may be mediators bring out the truthful messages ..! I might be playing rough often but fair and honest . It also looks like the very best and the most worst starts coming out of people in such contacts through me... It can be painful sometimes for many sides but it opens up the “hidden” for years in people. That was the message of the day.
