Circus Oz wowed Brazilian crowds when we performed our new show TWENTYSIXTEEN in Sao Paulo as part of the Australian Government’s 'Australia now' cultural festival.
The highly anticipated tour to Brazil did not leave the Sao Paulo audiences disappointed, with the crowd leaping to their feet in standing ovations after each of the five shows.
Guest Show Director Anni Davey also ran flying trapeze workshops for local circus performers who were put through their paces by Davey and were able to fly alongside the Circus Oz ensemble.

DODI is charity that is aimed at reaching out to women and girls who have suffered abuse and who are seeking a breakthrough in their lives. DODI provides a range of programs to rehabilitate and support women into living empowered lives incorporating: Workshop Programs, Counselling and Mentoring, Life Coaching, a half-way-house, and the Daughters Of Destiny Homestead and Academy for Women and Girls.
The DODI Fashion Parade is an annual fundraiser held to celebrate and reveal the beauty of all women. It was an evening of glamour and conversation while raising funds and awareness towards a very worthy cause. Ukrainian Cultural Community Of Melbourne presents Ukrainian Cultural Week festival of art exhibitions, music, song and literature.
The event is organised by the group of professional and world recognized music, voice and fine art performers who wish to contribute to the raise of Australian public awareness about Ukrainian cultural heritage and its living representatives here in Australia.
The program of a whole event includes 4 concerts constructed from the World best known instrumental (violin, grand piano) and vocal opera performances selected from classical heritage. On a list are such names as: Edouard Lalo, Claude Debussy, Franz Liszt, Arno Babajanian, Johann Sebastian Bach, Sir Edward William Elgar, Jules Émile Frédéric Massenet, Alfred Schnittke, Charles-Camille Saint-Saëns, Charles-François Gounod and those all are only some of the international block - a program also includes an amazing selection of Ukrainian composers creations.
