China Bar

28/3/2019

a tête-à-tête date with my husband for his birthday (people, will it ever end, the eating time celebrating his Japanese Majesty's birthday???) ... however using this opportunity I can review the #ChinaBar Signature Asian Seafood Buffet Pacific Epping
it is mildly quiet at lunch time for Tuesday (good to have a day off mid week instead of traditional days of the week which Alex's work allows to do)
on the menu of all-you-can-eat: sushi variety, mini-deserts french style, fruit, on savory side: lots of Asia cooked meats: chicken, beef, seafood and pork. the vegetarian and began variety is superb, the yum-cha variety is also fabulous and includes lots of fish and seafood dishes as well as vegetarian, there are also beautiful roasted duck and pork Hong Kong style, soups and cold seafood including crabs, large mussels and prawns. the gorgeous variety of salads including egg and potato are the additions to any dish .
I guess this place will be very busy in the evenings and on weekends bu even for lunch weekday there were many businessmen enjoying their time together , many couples with kids and just married couples.
my fav dishes of the day: prawns in bean curd (yum-cha) and cold watermelon
food: 4.5/5
service: 4.5/5
atmosphere: 4.5/5

Zelman Symphony present a new concert called #MozartsClarinet coming up on
DATE: Saturday 18 May 2019, 8.00pm
VENUE: Eldon Hogan Performing Arts Centre, Xavier College, Barkers Road, Kew
WEBSITE: http://zelmansymphony.org.au/Concerts/18May2019
After two exhilarating performances in 2010 and 2012, Zelman had to invite soloist David Griffiths for a repeat performance of the Mozart Clarinet Concerto - Mozart at his quintessential best. Harry Sdraulig's Sinfonietta will be reprise, a work he composed in 2015 for our orchestra as the Zelman Symphony - The University of Melbourne Emerging Composer in 2015.
The concert will close with Tchaikovsky's Fifth Symphony. Despite Tchaikovsky initially concluding it was a failure, the symphony has become a staple of the repertoire and a favourite amongst audiences.
Rick Prakhoff, Conductor
David Griffiths - clarinet
Program
Harry Sdraulig - Sinfonietta
Mozart – Clarinet Concerto
Tchaikovsky - Symphony No.5

Woman At War: giveaway

Hi Gloss Entertainment and Red Thread Studios present a new action drama called Woman at war / Kona fer í stríðhttps://www.womanatwarausnz.com/trailer and https://www.higlossentertainment.com.au/woman-at-war.html
in cinemas April 4
Halla is a fifty-year-old independent Icelandic woman, a respected choir leader who lives a mysterious double life. Known to the public only by her alias “The Mountain Woman,” Halla is a passionate environmental activist, secretly waging a one-woman-war on the local aluminium industry and risking everything to conserve the pristine Icelandic highlands she loves.
But as her actions grow bolder and her legend grows, an unexpected letter changes everything – her application to adopt a child has finally been accepted and there is a little girl waiting for her in Ukraine. Before she can fulfil her dream of becoming a mother, Halla plots an attack to deal the mining companies one final crippling blow.
Woman at War, the charming and topical new film from Benedikt Erlingsson (Of Horses and Men), is a quirky, heroic tale set in our world of imminent threat – the tale of an unlikely David taking on the Goliath of industry, one electricity pylon at a time.
All thanks to our friends at Red Thread Studios Bohemian Rhapsody Weekly Magazine had 10 tickets to give away to our readers. The competition was run via SMS and PM. The winners are Olga Kirk 2, Hima Himani 4, #TenderShivani 2 and #SomaiyeSomaiye 2. Congratulation to the winners! Please stay tuned for more details.

Published by Natasha Marchev · March 22 at 8:38 PM · It was a very sophisticated drive today so very early in the morning to our planned photoshoot at the @HerbalLoreLiqueurs Castle but our crew was amazing , very reliable as always, very kind and positive group of professionals indeed.
Long seemed we drove through the darkness of empty (thank god!) freeway's curves and turns, through the misty and thick fog and wet parts of rainy road and through Daylesford forest - here we are , at the mystical destination of the castle !!!
The shoot featured @StephanieBrowneAustralia timeless night gowns and jeweley and @JohnMilesShirts which were superb in quality and top end elegant look.
Stay with us as our media will be slowly editing the photos and the footage and we are going to rock and roll your worlds again

when we are busy as bees...

20/3/2019

WE ARE BUSY AS BEES HERE and the work sounds more like a very noisy beehive
this is the work I create for myself , I adore, I love, I live and I breathe
I dedicate every minute of my life to it BUT
I think once in a while I have to speak out my mind when I get lots of negative attitudes around...
We all work here with one aim: to create and to show to the world what we can express through art . We are not paid for what we do. I am not paid for what I do. I only expect one thing in return: respect ,support and gratitude. If I am not online most likely I am at the meetings just for the sake of the magazines and I sleep a bare maximum of 3 hours a day.
As part of my work as a chief editor of two magazines I organise complicated photoshoots with sophisticated logistics that involve months of preparations and loads of work from ALL sides involved - we do not count as we all enjoy what we do. You never ask for money if you love what you do.
SO YOU ASK WHAT PISSES ME OFF a lot!?????
The answer is in the nutshell:
The attitude of some "professionals"
nasty details
1. Models demanding that the list of everything has to be provided to them: stockings, bras, knickers and shoes should be given to them no matter what theme of the shoot is and what we try to portray with the artistic images. More to that : they complain on the expensive petrol they have to use attending the rare locations that we book for editorials. DARLING, you wanted to be with us on the set in the first place? Then you should not complain. Enjoy as you are there because you LOVE it - you signed up for that right? No one encouraged you! You knew where location would be. I had a long waiting list of girls and deprived others who were better girls just to give you your place with us. Have some respect. If you have questions, do not yell out your demands in front of the whole group of other crew members calling yourself "honest" and all of us "fake" . You are not honest , you are simply rude, not tactful and see way too many stars in your mirror reflection - it is called star-sickness. Notice the difference between: honest and ethical. Ask me politely and privately how can I help you and I will: we have spare shoes for styling, Woolworth sells stockings, shops sell shoes for $10, the car pools to the shoot location are organised by us to assist you. Buy your own bras and knickers - i will not share mine with you. No one loves your attitude. Be respectful to the others and accommodate. If you can not hold it - you are OUT because you do not BUILD but you SHAKE the project and DESTROY it with you negative comments addressing the organisers! Thank you! You are unique - I agree BUT please be lovely in the future - organse your own projects.
2 Models, there are 100-s of you, not all of you can be on our covers (front and back) - we will have 24 per year only plus I do not decide if you will be there or not - our technical graphical designers team also does not sleep and does this work at night hours. They do not know till the time the whole magazine inside pages are ready WHAT will be on the cover. We do not charge money for you to be on the cover now but we will in the future. They pick up the most artistic and the most suitable size and layout of the images - the candidates only and then they decide collectively what will go on the cover. Sometimes it takes a couple of days to decide. I am not part of this decision BUT I love and respect their choices that are also often explained (why) to me. Your attitude is not suitable for the group you work in if you want yourself on the cover - and otherwise will not work with us - we welcome you to organise your own gigs too as well as your own covers
3. Models, please also keep in mind that I DO NOT OWE YOU ANYTHING! I do not have to provide you lifts to the location, food and drinks as well as warm clothes at the shoots. I only did it because I loved doing it. I do not do it any more or I do it less as it was all taken for granted. I am here now only for one reason: to give you the opportunity to shine in public and get you noticed using our platforms , a half of 100,000 followers and stage. Take it or leave me alone in peace!
I hope the above is clear . If you recognise yourself here - GREAT .I am glad you are happy to look in the mirror. have respect for the work of the others and try first to create something yourself before you start using me and my devoted crew and then send me your ATTITUDE messages and call us all some disrespectful "names". I was running this when you were not born yet... but what do I know!?
"SELF PROCLAIMED QUEENS (WITH SICK ATTITUDES), THE INVISIBLE CROWNS SIT WAY TOO TIGHT ON YOUR HEADS ... SOMETIMES THEY PRESS ON YOUR GOLDEN BRAIN TOO HARD! WE WANT TO FIX THEM A BIT - JUST A BIT PERHAPS!.. SO SORRY THAT WE HAVE TO USE SHOVELS TO DO SO! " by O.N.
Regar... Respect!
NM
PS thanking Alexander O. Montgomery for inspiring me to speak out on that and open up! I trust I baked it right this time - with salt, nuts, lemon and sugar!
