· We are lllllunching and mmmmmmmunching at The Olive Tree restaurant and the The Nook Cafe in #Sunbury ... and I thought ..... oh sorry no thoughts at this point as my head refuses to analyse anything ... it is after our interviews...
just enjoying our three selves and gossip about mmmmmm... no memory here noted....
we looooooved the food , the atmosphere and the service at these two places located door to door: fresh, cooked with care and attention it was very very special :
~ Grilled Chicken & Quinoa Salad w/ Beet Yoghurt (gluten free) Spinach, snap peas, carrot, beetroot, ancient grains, croutons, candied walnuts
& orange - sensational flour blends, amused by pink mayo and lots of very modern taste additions.
~ Smoked salmon avocado mash topped with egg benedict, green salad, and potato and vegetables pancake topped on the lentils
~ SALT & LEMON PEPPER SQUID & PRAWNS Tiger prawns & squid lightly dusted & flash fried, accompanied w/ lemon aioli
~ GARLIC TIGER PRAWNS GF Pan tossed in a white wine, garlic, herb & cream sauce served w/ Jasmine
rice & garden salad
.. and we were treated there as three king's favorite queens : spades, hearts and a joker :)
Bohemian Rhapsody Club and Magazine for Entertainment Book reviews
I love this place and keep coming here year after year - it does not change its high level of treating the food and their customers! thank you guys for everything today!
after our long day filming on Sunday for the Valentine's Day project Alex takes me out for late lunch / early dinner ...
the wait is a bit longer than expected - the place is almost full so I go over to the other side of the bar to listen to the music and sit quietly opposite to the guitarist...
he asks me: "what would you like to listen to?"
"something Russian please"
"no, thank you... you know, they write very good songs now too.. they are always hungry there...hungry people perform better in art "
"oh yes... this is VERY Russian... NO, please"
"ok, I know what I will sing for you... listen..."
I listen - he is Dom Italiano Music - he is pretty good... our late lunch is ready... I love his voice, he is cool. he must be hungry for his art is fine...
we are at .... (forgot the place name - in North Carlton) - need to check the photo tags.... sorry...
I love this place - the chef is unexpectedly fantastic for the pub food... it is not in the look f the dish but inside the food - we go there every year!
Entertainment Book thank you for introducing us to
~ the some fair ,
~ some amazing but
~ some very home-like, and very warm
places. I guess this one was the latter...
Don't leave me high
Don't leave me dry
we are lunching at The French Lettuce Carlton with Mr Kapuska Ned Vorkapic and everything is sooooo delicious here Entertainment Book special I am having very tender chicken on rye and latte and Ned is having beef burgundy pie and hot chocky
the way to the "destination" was interrupted by the visit to Tokar Estate Winery , Coldstream, Victoria, Australia. The place is remarkable by its dishes (sorry for us being no wine drinkers) and the way they present them, sensationally shaped cutlery with the top of the table - the pumpkin mayo: something so smooth and tasty that the word 'mayo' will be completely out of my dictionary for a while...
the price: with the Entertainment Book - half of your main https://www.entertainmentbook.com.au/orderbooks/182v887 (I recommend you to buy the next year issue 2018-19 that will be out of the printing house in March 2018)
to our total shock we were simply taken to the completely different country with the climate that changed in front of our eyes from the hot steaming spa (that it was today to the cool, cold, pleasant, humid and rainy with the mountain fresh air right into our windows from the outside - this is your #WarburtonWoodsPointRoad welcoming us through the national park, the road that I never ever taken before - if you look at the map it goes like a golden snake for full 45 minutes through a very thick forest with no cars travelling in any direction - why? I have no idea, people but it was a total magic!
...plus the Redwood Forest East Warburton added to the atmosphere indeed: you arrive to the full car park , get out of your car and there is no one around - not a soul it's quiet and then goes the grand wall-like forest full of tiny birds, my broken new iPhone 8 (crashed glass) , dry brunches everywhere that are organised into the nests, hats and bottles of water left under the trees feeling like the people were there just 2 min ago but taken traveling through the mysterious door / an open portal to another realm... and families / groups of people appearing between the tree trunks here and there: without warning sound or sign: you could also feel these trees simply read your mind... so intense the energy is...but was glad I showed it to Alex finally... he loved it although said it was way too perfect with its artificial lines (the forest) and we were quiet on the way back for a while till we reached MxDonalds Mcoffee - yes please as everything else was closed!..
this is my fav place in Melbourne when it comes to the food cooked with love... I do not need to go any further nor do you..
at The Furlan Club in Thornbury for lunch yesterday with my friend
half price meals with your Entertainment Book always plus the red kitty is one curly and furry bonus of course...
Stokers Fine Pancakes Clarendon St South Melbourne with Entertainment Book for our half price meal .
Ned is obviously happy nevertheless his chicken burger looks so big - like it's gonna eat him, not the wrong way round 😊
Ok while someone is enjoying her grooming session Natasha is preparing a list of things she needs to buy to start her new challenge: cooking following " #Yallateef! " book recipes, actually six of them , and yes, I intend to buy lots of spices at Oasis AUBakery North Road Murrumbeena and if I say I loved my espresso at Twisted Sista Cafe and Gelateria - Knox yhis morning I would be telling the truth ....
Penny are you freaking ready? How much time do these bitches need to spend at the salon 💇???? I could have had my hair and manicure done already !!! Oh this is what she is having anyway! Thank god I am not as hairy as her !! 🐶
Threekookaburras Publishing House present a new book called #PachydermBook
AUTHOR: Hugh McGinlay - Author
PUBLISHER: Three Kookaburras
Susie O'Day-Cashmere writes:
"When I was given this book to read, I assumed it would be some kind of endangered wild life species. How wrong I was!!
It’s a book that begins at the Melbourne Zoo, drinking champagne, until an animals death at the zoo throws the milliner/part time sleuth into another mystery, something of which Catherine Kint thrives on. Catherine and her trusted best friend, Boris, fellow part time sleuth insert themselves in the case and annoy everyone from zoologists to the police.
Accidents happen, rivalries and egos clash, reputations will be tarnished and by the end of the novel, one of the characters will be fed to an extremely ravenous carnivore! Pachyderm s the second crime solving adventure for our heroine Catherine Kint and her crime solving partner Boris. The first book in the series is called JINX, which I highly recommend for a great read as well.
The scene is set in the inner suburbs of Melbourne, littered with trendy coffee shops, pubs and bars. Kint is a kind of accidental detective who has the knack of turning any adventure out of the ordinary into a mysterious crime adventure. So a social occasion at the zoo, starts with a romantic encounter with a zoo keeper but soon ends with the sad and tragic sudden death of a female Asian elephant, Dang Zei.
Despite Kint’s conviction that the elephants death is connected to to the mauling of a zoo keeper called Hacksa, who Kint had a slight romantic interest with, the Zoo officials and Police refuse to listen to her. McGinlay throws some great tongue in cheek humour into this story as she did with the first novel JINX.
It’s fast paced and high drama from the onset. Simply put, it’s fabulous!
Kint stomps mercilessly into anyone’s life she can get answers from and you get the feeling that if you met her, you just might want to strangle her!! There is a lot of character development, contemplation, drinking and some poignant moments both in terms of love lost and gained. Added of course to the fabulous mystery solving.
It’s a quirky read and thoroughly entertaining. JINX and PACHYDERM are the first 2 in the Catherine Kirt detective series and I for one am hoping and looking for some more!
I give it $8 out of $10 on the “Cashy Scale”

Thanks to our friends at Antidote Films Oz / Antidote Films and #SchoolLifeDocumentary creators we had an opportunity to review the book called The Famous Five https://antidotefilms.com.au/school-life/
please read the review published by Susie O'Day-Cashmere
THE FAMOUS FIVE
“Five run away together
No: 3 in this category of books by Enid Blyton (Famous Five)
First published in 1944
Publisher: Hodder and Stoughton
Illustrator: Eileen A Soper
Latest print: 1997
In my youth, I was obsessed , as I am now, with books. One of my all time favourite authors was, and still is, Enid Blyton.
In particular her books about “The Famous Five”. A family with a cousin and a dog called Timothy.
I have just read The Famous Five again, the one titled “Famous Five Run Away Together” and I loved it as much as I did all those years ago.
It’s actually my favourite of The Famous Five adventures.
There are three boys, Dick, Julian, Timothy (the dog) and two girls, Anne and Georgina who only goes by the name George!
In this book, their favourite cook, Joanna is ill, and the new replacement is a cook called Mrs Stick,
The children, and the dog, do not like the bad tempered Mrs Stick, so they decide to pack some food and water and run away.
They run to and island called Kirrin Island and are very excited to do so.
When they arrive, they discover more than just an idyllic place to eat swim and explore.
This includes finding a mysterious trunk, an unidentifiable scream over and over, and so the adventure begins.
The five suspect that smuggling is involved and without spoiling the mystery, I shall say no more as to what they find!
You would be doing yourself a favour to read or reread the beautiful adventures of these very capable, loveable and curious children.
I now want to go and reread the rest of the series, in fact that is exactly what I shall do!!
I adore Julian, Dick, Anne, George and the amazing Timothy.
The illustrations are marvellous and break up the pages to keep the younger reader more interested.
A fabulous read, an icon of an author, I give “The Famous Five Run Away Together a $9 out of $10 on the “Cashy scale.

the place is sooo full of stunning women nicely dressed and Arabic music - I adore it all already and totally !!
This gorgeous foliant was a dear and quite spontaneous present signed for me by the author #MarwaMakool .
It is a #YallateefCookbook from the head chef and the owner of the famous Oasis Bakery on North Road. It is volume 1 and volume 2 called #YallaYallaCookbook is due to get an official launch on Wednesday, December 13.

oh god it is actually 6 dishes (with coffees) - sorry I opened the book and was enchanted .. so had to take more than I promised...
the time starts now and please make sure you stay tuned for my photos and the brief coming up soon...
added 11 new photos — at Soul Origin.
· we all know from our childhood that there are toys that go on Christmas tree, little we knew that the toys can have Christmas trees on them... till we saw this one at Chadstone The Fashion Capital today
destroying our 1/2 price yummiest salads at Soul Origin / Soul Origin Chadstone disturbing the crowds ( Entertainment Book special voucher yes please!) with Yulia Assatryan and Jennifer Zaman) with our loudness and movie-like-stories ... plus getting freaked out by the Christmas decorations at this scary place...
Dear Chadstobne, please forget us! We have never never never been there - we are not coming back too to your noisy corners of honey covered beehives... You are way too good for us!..
...and you would never guess what...
Jennifer Zaman and I and always yours, Natasha Marchev after our millinery meeting decided to go around the Oasis Bakery shop to buy some yummy deli and snacks (Jenny was sooooooooooooooooo amazed with the size, variety, decorations and the quality of the gourmet products at this place that she said Arnie's famous: "I will be back!" I guess meaning with her personal assistant and by the the way her husband too, Ashish Hussain, Ashi, get ready!)
...Just as Jen was loudly pronouncing this phrase in front of the gorgeous serving dishes and crockery someone behind our shoulders softly said: " would you ladies love to have a basket?" while saying yes I suddenly realised something and my question: "excuse me , are you the owner of this place?" turned into her (warm again!): "yes and my name is Marwa. This is my book , please have a look.."
No matter how urgently we had to leave to our Chadstone nest meeting with Jenny we stayed for another hour. DonBella Beauty Pageant & Fashion Show got a new sponsor ( Ranz Bose, please sing a happy glory song for us while you have a shower tomorrow, or better a hymn - hahhahaha :)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AOSfZa3Dzy4 "Glory!" by Mikhail Glinka ) and Bohemian Rhapsody Club and Online Magazine kindly got an offer too : a signed (in arabic language also) Marwa's book https://oasisbakery.com.au/products/yallateef-recipe-book
'Yallateef' Cookbook' - #MarwaMakool and an opportunity (we will get there later to cover Marwa's cooking classes) - something that I wanted to do for the last three years.
Marwa's book challenge is also taken by me - I am cooking three recipes out of it and publishing them step by step. What a woman, what a book! :) <3
More to that : Marwa's new book is coming out and we were the first lucky ones to see one out of two printed copies (!!!) Apparently it takes three years to make one book - the photos are so so so sensational it takes one day to create one recipe from this book!!!!!!
Marwa also personally invited us to the @OasisBakeryFair that runs today-tomorrow (Sat-Sun) from 1000am till 0400pm at the North Road address and everyone is invited - even the CAMELS who will be dressed and present there ...
no words - but I love the pure white magic created by us and I love camels most of all... no idea why... but I do ... well, let's say after Tosha and Dasha they must be my fav animals on this planet.

Antidote Films Oz / Antidote Films and Jameson & Co PR present a new fabulous documentary called School Life Film
in cinemas from November 2
To celebrate the film release and all thanks to our friends at #AntidoteBohemian Rhapsody Club and Online Magazine gave away a book called The Famous Five (hard copy book) by Enid Blyton. Winner: Susie O'Day-Cashmere. Please stay tuned for the book review and Susie's comments coming up shortly
Make sure you watch the School Life documentary but what about
The Famous Five
The Famous Five are among Enid Blyton's best-loved creations and countless children have gone adventuring with them since the publication of Five on a Treasure Island in 1942, the first of twenty-one full-length adventures and numerous short stories. Armed with maps, torches, packets of sandwiches and a plentiful supply of ginger-beer, Julian, Dick, Anne, their tomboy cousin George (Georgina by rights) and Timmy the dog like nothing better than to spend their holidays hiking and biking, camping and exploring by themselves, invariably falling into adventure.
Friends like Jo the gypsy girl, young Tinker Hayling, Sooty Lenoir, and even George's scientist father (Uncle Quentin to the others), often get caught up in the strange goings-on too. And what thrilling places they visit and discover — Kirrin Island, Smuggler's Top, Owl's Dene, the lighthouse at Demon's Rocks and farms, castles, caves and secret passages galore.
Whether they're outwitting thieves, smugglers or kidnappers, seeking hidden treasure or encountering spook trains, the Five's courage and determination always wins through! Enid Blyton's original books were charmingly illustrated by Eileen Soper but there have been numerous interpretations and adaptations of the Famous Five over the years including continuation novels written by French author Claude Voilier, cinema films, stage plays, two television series and, more recently, a Disney cartoon series featuring the children of the Famous Five.
However, the twenty-one original books have never been out of print and remain popular with readers worldwide. Long live the Famous Five!
Congratulation Susie, happy reading and film watching!
