just finished reading this book !... phew !!! what can I say ??!
my first hard copy of erotic thriller in the last 20 years as I tend to read only philosophy books .. my first hard copy book in the last 12 years as I tend to read online exclusively ... so it’s quite a refreshment on old and lovely days - a good reminder to me of our book- culture-country :)
Feelings? Reactions?..Response?..
Well.., I must admit, it is highly addictive as I could not put it down for the last two days - felt more like the book followed me everywhere in the house : kitchen, computer, bathtub, restroom , backyard, bedroom... I could not get it out of my head ... I still can’t as the voices of the main characters still follow me ... some tears and "wows" of course on certain pages... but more like a fireworks of emotions of ocurse...
Shocked by the ending of the story ?
Very much so, especially by the last words! Events developed fast , the psychological drama evolved in the blink of an eye and the reflections of the book chapters are still haunting my mind...
I will be asking many questions to the author , Natasha Lukin tomorrow Her epistolary skills appeared to be very attractive and special to me ... the last thing I would love to ask: will there be part two ?... but I can’t do it for for many reasons...
Something else ? Oh, yes biggest thank of course to the author, Natasha who gave the wonderful opportunity for our crew of actors to be involved in the photo action following the events of the book step by step: we went to the art galleries, Melboune cafes, Port Melbourne shooting ships, even stayed a night at the Pullman filming - those photos partially made the book illustrations , and thank you to Max Davine for his silent encouragement during our interview with the writer - made me very much interested in finally reading the novel!
