Following the success of her previous, sold-out one-woman shows, PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE, THE SHOW GOES ON and SONGS FOR NOBODIES (a hit in both Australia and London), Bernadette Robinson is returning to Australian stages with the World Premiere of her post-pandemic solo tour-de-force, #DIVAS. DIVAS will open at QPAC, Brisbane on 20 July then travel to Sydney Opera House
opening 3 August then to Fairfax Studio, Melbourne from 24 August 2023.
DIVAS is directed and co-devised by the multi-award-winning Simon Phillips (Priscilla, Queen of The Desert, Love Never Dies, Muriel’s Wedding, The Musical) and this time around it’s all about the songs. Bernadette’s critically acclaimed, rare vocal gifts (The Times, London called her “a jaw-dropping talent” and The Australian described her performance as “Beyond virtuosity to the sublime”) will detonate every single song in this emotion-fuelled
concert.
Simon Phillips said “I’ve been working with Bernadette for over a decade and my awe at her talent remains undiminished. Every time she opens her mouth to ‘become' a new singing legend, I shake my head in disbelief. I should be used to it, but it never ceases to amaze and thrill me. And this new show adds a number of brand-new Divas to her repertoire, which makes it doubly exciting." The show will be an in-depth, full-on musical journey through the repertoire of ten of our greatest popular music DIVAS including Edith Piaf, Amy Winehouse, Shirley Bassey, Barbra Streisand, Maria Callas, Kate Bush, Dolly Parton, Karen Carpenter Miley Cyrus and Judy Garland. Robinson will inhabit their most famous songs and
their musings on life, music, audiences and their individual challenges and triumphs.

A dreamy, intimate take on imaginative works. Jazz vocalist Amelia Evans is one of Melbourne’s rising stars. She has performed with the likes of Terri-Lyne Carrington, James Morrison and Linda Oh, collaborated with pianist Bob Sedergreen on her debut album, and won a score of awards and prizes. The Radiohead Project is a chance to see the young artist in collaboration with her talented peers, performing jazz, with a twist.
About the concert
Their performance in Primrose Potter Salon celebrates the music of Radiohead, breathing new life into the works. Radiohead rose to fame in the 90’s and became one of the most exciting and experimental outfits of their generation. Now a new era of musicians is turning to the group’s iconic back catalogue and finding ways to reinvent the music as their own. The Radiohead Project transforms the group’s works into intimate explorations for jazz quartet and strings. Inspired by Radiohead’s radically deconstructed approach to composition and performance, they explore Radiohead’s affinity for jazz, performing works from well-known records such as OK Computer, Kid A and Amnesiac. We follow their lives in pre-war Vienna, Slawa’s ingenious invention of the foldable umbrella, and an incredible chain of events: miraculously escaping the Holocaust and rebuilding their careers as artists in Melbourne. A magical story of art and creativity, survival and perseverance, family, freedom and love.

ingratiates himself with Egyptian noble Potiphar, but ends up in jail after refusing the advances of Potiphar’s wife. While imprisoned, Joseph discovers his ability to interpret dreams, and he soon finds himself in front of the mighty but troubled showman, the Pharaoh.
As Joseph strives to resolve Egypt’s famine, he becomes Pharaoh’s right-hand man and eventually reunites with his family.

"Jade's Holland's new single "Oh My Heart" is a really upbeat .
I find her music to incorporate so much rhythm. Her sound is beautiful and warm. The lyrics tell a story and are electric and her voice is melodious, I find. My recommendation is to listen to her new single or indeed see if you can catch a show.
A catchy and a toe tapping tune, it's well worth a listen.
She's a great singer, with a lovely in tune voice. It's an amazing way for her to end 2022.
Holland is touring extensively in OZ, Jan 23. Jade will be in Queensland on her "Oh my heart " tour, at the end of this week.
Jade Holland has been very successful in QLD especially. Holland is really big in several areas of Queensland, and does extremely well at the box office there.
The new single was written by Jade with Sinead Burgess, who also produced it. The engaging new music was mixed by David Messy Mescon at Messy Art Studios/Rooms/Areas in #Nashville. USA. Frank Gagliardi, mastered. He is also from Nashville in the US.
Holland has toured throughout Australia , The Middle East, the USA and Canada.
