Re-discovering Australian music television from the 1970’s: If you were living in Australia in the 70s, you know that music was always right there on our TVs. Revisit music television from programs you fondly remember and others long since forgotten: from Nightmoves, the revived Bandstand, and Thank God it’s Friday at the Zoo, to the international tour specials, variety shows and telethons of the era. Plus, be amongst the first to watch the never before seen pilot episode of 1977 music show Soundcheck, featuring radio and television personality Greg Evans and a panel of judges rating the latest record releases. Following the screening, join Lee Simon from Nightmoves and music icon John Paul Young for a Q&A discussion. Susie O'Day-Cashmere reviews the documentary: http://bohemianrhapsodyclub.weebly.com/la-premiere FILM STAGING: Rouben Dickranian at https://sixstarphotography.com.au/ FLOURLESS (almost) BUT NOT NUTLESS ingredients of today's morning cake ~ 1/2 cup brown sugar ~ 1 1/2 cup raw almond meal ~ 1/2 cup of wholemeal flour ~ 4 whole chicken made eggs please (not hand made but bum made) ~ 1 tbl spoon of lemon peel ~ dry plums to mix in ~ a handful of mixed (and crushed in smaller pieces) nuts to add to that mixture of everything and to top the cake a bit mixture preparation time: 6 min (with watching the comedy battle - bit more though: 8 min https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GoE_ykSnGmk - sister Raya changes the huge size bulbs in the light houses - quite a dangerous job and i could not stop laughing :)) ; cooking: 45min; degrees: 170 C - that's enough with the numbers... you will also need an oven and some gas or electricity for this cake. after it is ready take it out of the oven carefully ( and don't burn your hands as you only have two) then cool it down on the stone table (if you do not have a stone table please do not buy it just for the sake of the cake) only after the cake is cooled it will look cool and can be sliced easily. enjoy with tea, coffee, lemon, russian honey privately collected by bees in the first place, then by bears from the bee's houses called bee-hiVes (which is completely wrong and should be rather bee-hiDes) just for you (all hand made or sounds more like paws made honey) anyway it was all about the cake - not nutless but almost flourless |
