The Australian Toy Association (ATA) showcased The Hottest Toys for Christmas on Tuesday, 6th of December at 448 St Kilda Road Melbourne. There were children to chat to about the toys they love who helped to navigate the way around the selection available in the shops this Christmas.
Amongst the toys on show there were many of the kids’ top favourites by some of the #ATA members including LEGO , Mattel , #Headstart , #Hasbro , Warner Bros. Entertainment and #Moose who had on display toys they are expecting to rush off the shelves during the Christmas shopping period.
Toys featured including furry favourites, electronics, building sets, magical crystal balls and other products that inspire kids’ imaginations and have them actively playing this Christmas were on display. Play is valuable for every child and The ATA’s Value of Play has been an amazing resource for parents during the past two years leaning into the message that children love to play.
The ATA members are very responsive to this need for children, and it is reflected.
All thanks to our friends at the ATA PR company, Bohemian Rhapsody Weekly Magazine had a chance to see the toys expected to be voted this year’s hottest toys and were welcome to take a look on them. Nicole Stenton reviews the exhibition:
"Last week I had the pleasure of previewing some of the hottest new toys available for Christmas, at a showing hosted by Australian Toy Association. As a mum of two that struggles with what to buy my kids every year it was great to get a preview of what is currently popular for kids of all ages. The highlight for me was being able to see what Moon Shoes actually are as my daughter has talked about them so many times but I couldn’t really picture what she was describing. Also, knowing where the displayed toys could be purchased was an added bonus. I’m glad to say thanks to the inspiration at the toy preview I have now made found the inspiration to start my Christmas shopping."
