today's project "Tea.. progressing to coffee..." highlights:
~ make up on the gorgeous international opera singer Rada Tochalnastarted under the Jam Factory's major tower by Luba Yaroshik
~ very grateful to Tony Collins who came neglecting his damaged last night knee
~ Karl Mandekic and Amanda the owners of the Garden Street Gardenkindly allowed us to use their premise and even to move their furniture and figurines around
~ Ivan Motyrev is one handsome model, too bad I am not 20 years old but Tony kindly make me some "fridge photos of Ivan :) I am suspicious half of these shoots might end on Tony's fridge too :)
~ Kwacha Luka arrived like an African thunderstorm and started dressing Rada in her just made (30 hours of night work) red 120 meters of fabric and 12 layers dress... which all the girls would looooooooooooove to have in their wardrobes
~the props prepared earlier by Elena Tretiakova Millinery saw the light taken out of the boxes
~ Ivan got dressed (mainly undressed)
~ Ivan thanks @RajKiran for the pants
~ I am finally seeing my concept / vision materialising , in action
and it looks even better than I saw it a couple of weeks ago...
~ Rada is not breathing... she sings for us a piece of aria from La Bohema (?)
~ (earlier at the jam) we meet the guy who shows us where the good coffee is sold... lately he comes to see us at the GSG where we suddenly discover that he is Russian and we will be taking him as a model for our next projects.
~ we have many curious people sneaking in the shop and watching what we do
~ we using the animal heads from the shop walls in the fun way as part of our props - they are superb!
~ Ivan shows us some yoga
~ the climax of the day: Ivan announcing that he bought the newly made red dress for Rada 's Christmas - the smile on Rada's face does not come off for 15 minutes ... The moment is so emotional that we all start crying... The price of the dress is not disclosed. It suits the princess, it suits and fits the glamorous opera singer in the best possible way it will make her raise to the higher grounds even more enchanting
~ the flowers by Bunch After Bunch make the photoshoot even more colorful and tender
~ I try to style Rada the best possible way. I am grateful to Kwacha and Luba for helping me out with staging.
~ I think my new fox collar also did very well on Rada's shoulders ( a present from @ElenaTretiakova it had a secret plan for a free ride in my car to South Yarra and a bit of a fresh-air-having-fun-routine)
~ Rada realises why the rich women always had slaves - such dresses are impossible to put on without a little bit of efforts from the back - corsets are made to be fit in not by the ones who wear them.
~ the bouquets giveaway concluded the project.
