Japanese Film Fest (JFF) hosted by Japan Foundation, Sydney is showcasing the best in contemporary Japanese cinema – from anime to internationally acclaimed drama, and everything in between. JFF started in 1997 with three free film screenings by Festival Director Masafumi Konomi, and has now grown to 45+ films in 9 principal cities, attracting an audience of approximately 25,000. The JFF also brings out special guests from Japan for Q&A evenings and film screenings.
