Lei Cha is Ground Tea - the company talks about its teas...
So what is Lei Cha you ask?
Pronounced “Lay Cha” it is directly translated from Mandarin Chinese to the English words “Ground Tea” And that is exactly what it is, somewhat similar to Matcha Green Tea, yet with far more health boosting ingredients.Lei Cha is made by roasting, grinding and blending different mixtures of the best green tea from Taiwan, health-giving herbs, spices, nuts, seeds, whole grains and veggies. There are 12 varieties each with their own wellness properties and wholesome flavours. All you have to do is add two tablespoons to your favourite mug and add hot water for a fulfilling nutritious drink.
I first came across Lei Cha in Taiwan on a holiday with my family. We had traveled to a quiet little country town with a bustling market place offering all types of local food and crafts.
It was here that I first tasted the Green Tea Blend known as Mindful Green. It was delicious, it was filling and as I later discovered not only very healthy but steeped in a long tradition of use passed down through many generations. The Chinese are famous for their traditional herbal medicines and this is where I found Lei Cha to be unique in terms of wellness properties and flavour. Chinese medicines had always conjured thoughts of strange tasting concoctions with undesirable flavours but Lei Cha combines simple ingredients in balanced quantities to produce great tasting health boosting drinks.
Traditionally Lei Cha ingredients were roasted over fire, cooled and then ground with a mortar and pestle. Nowadays with innovation and technology we can roast the grains to exact temperatures and grind to a consistency which not only increases the bio-availability of the ingredients but creates unique flavors like nothing else available. If you are interested in supporting your health while relaxing with a great tasting cup of tea then visit us as www.leicha.com.au to find out how Lei Cha can help you.
I will be reviewing 10 tea varieties give to the Bohemian Rhapsody Weekly Magazine for review... please stay tuned...
